ABOUT ME

Culturally, I grew up in a community where seeking counselling wasn’t encouraged, and there was a strong stigma around mental health support. Having experienced significant loss from a young age, I didn’t have a safe space to process my grief or manage my emotions, which left me feeling numb and made it difficult to discuss topics like death. It was only through my studies in counselling that I began to understand the power of expressing and working through my feelings. Reconnecting with my emotions brought a profound sense of relief and healing, inspiring me to help others experience the same. My goal is to provide a space where anyone can come, not because they “have to” but because they deserve to feel better, process their feelings, and find comfort—free from judgment and stigma. Instead of therapy sounding like a treatment option, I aim to shift the narrative and encourage better for ourselves through resources like talking therapies.

I had the honor of completing my placement at Barnet Bereavement, where I provided compassionate support to individuals navigating the complexities of grief. Creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their emotions was a deeply rewarding experience.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to assist others on their paths of self-discovery and growth. As I continue my career, I am committed to expanding my skills and professional development to better serve those in need.

If you’re considering counselling, let’s start with a complimentary 15 minute consultation. This initial meeting will allow us to discuss your needs, explore how I can best support you, and arrange a convenient time for our first session.
